This image, Concorde - High Speed Pass, shows Concorde G-BOAB performing a low level high speed pass over farmland in Wiltshire and is based on a photograph taken in 1987.
Concorde G-BOAB (number 208) was assembled and built by BAC Filton (Bristol UK) in 1976 and had its maiden flight in May 1976 and was the third Concorde to be delivered to British Airways.
Some of this aircraft claim to fames include the setting if a distance record for an airliner of a 4,565 mile flight from Washington to Nice in September 1984, the first inaugural charter service from London to Seattle via New York in November 1984 and bringing home the 1998 England World Cup squad from Nantes in July 1998.
The aircrafts final flight was back to London Heathrow on 18th August 2000 and is still at Heathrow in 2015.
