Description

"Last Voyage" ends my Sea Monster collection and with it a long and arguest struggle to perfect my Whimsically Bizarre Surrealism theory. Even though I was slowly losing interest in the subject matter, I have to say, that this oil painting turned out better than I anticipated.

I've carved out a lot "white space" in order to create a busy composition to fool the eye. The viewer will need to stay very focused on the "colors" as they look at each figure. BTW, I will be posting a video showing some of the techniques I used in finishing the last section.
