Dai...this is so beautiful..so well composed. the idea of adding a hawthorn tree is fantastic.This makes this picture unique.

Actually Gilberte, the hawthorn is growing on the island, but I had great trouble painting the brilliant pink flowers. Watercolours somehow don't lend themselves to bright colours, as do oils or acrylics.
