I am a full time artist who lives in the foothills of Colorado Springs. My style is most often loose impressionism with very bold colors. I use all artist grade oils with a green studio, meaning no smelly turpentine. For acrylics, I like Golden or Liquitex full and heavy body paints. I usually paint Ala Prima because I'm impatient like that! Sometimes I get in the mood for palette knife painting or using sea sponges and feathers to create my inspirations. That's mostly what I love about painting, which is to express myself in whatever way works for me on that particular canvas that particular day.
Photography is also a fun hobby that I like to share in my gallery. I do quite a bit of traveling and love flowers, beaches, and anything for inspiration for paintings or just sharing the image for purchase or enjoyment of browsing.
