Description
The instinct to reproduce is one of the main drives for all living beings, and finding the right partner one of our main goals in life. And finding the right one is crucial for humans, as it needs to take care for children not for months as in case of animals, but for decades. And women find this burden really hard, natural selection programmed us to find a healthy and good looking partner, but also willing to bond for lifetime. And in every species where males in average are bigger than women they have the instinct to fight other males and take care of multiple women.
The problem is that the women don't like to share their partner and they want to feel that he's giving all his energy and attention to them, otherwise is very frustrating and can be a deal breaker. But now we got to trick nature, and can mate without making children, as the rewards is one of the greatest pleasures nature can offer. And even if men prefer a stable partner who can build something together with, is almost impossible to resist the temptation of more promiscuous women. And it gets more complicated that women tend to have stable relationships with caring men, but in the days of the month when they ovulate tend to cheat with alpha males that have better genes. And most of the men don't find very attractive the idea of taking care of other males children, specially if they were cheated.
And if not long ago was difficult to find a partner when people had very similar ways of thought thanks to their religion, culture and community, now people's minds are spread all over thanks to new ideas, and the community is gone, as people can find a potential flirting partner in any corner of the world, but might fall in love by a projection, as they get back to earth as soon as they meet and find that they live in parallel universes beside a common ground based on a few ideas and the universal desire to find someone to be with
