About David Cochran
David Cochran David Cochran is a native of Decatur, Georgia. Self-taught, he began drawing at an early age and eventually gravitated toward producing detailed drawings in colored pencil. His love of animals and flowers originated in his volunteer work at a wildlife sanctuary and from several years working at a local garden center. In his art, David concentrates on attention to detail and vivid color. Rich depth is produced by placing many layers of color over each section of every drawing. Though his main concentration is on colored pencil, he also produces works in pen and ink and watercolor, occasionally mixing the media in one piece. David was formerly the staff artist at the Carnivore Preservation Trust (now Carolina Tiger...
