From the artist - my mom encouraged my artistic pursuits from the time I was little tike. She always commented how I was like Peter Pan. Being an artist herself, she dud a watercolor painting of Never Never Land that hung on my wall for many years. I would stare at that painting and imagine myself in that magical place while I laid in bed. Unfotunately, that painting was lost the years. One day, I decided to do my best to recreate it from memory. This piece envokes that time of my life and I think of my mom whenever I look at it. That and the loud ticking of an alarm clock!
